At the end of every semester after the closing ceremony we suggest our students to leave their comments in the program guestbook. Below you may find the complete collection of our alumni testimonials sorted by semester. If you haven’t written your own in our guestbook we encourage you
to email us your text at mim@mccme.ru.

In the framework of our cooperation with the AMS we also conducted a few surveys of our alumni asking them to evaluate the program a few years after their semester in Moscow. Their answers can be found here.
I think I learned as much or more than I would have had I stayed in the U.S.
I certainly wouldn’t have experienced as much emotional growth. Being in another country really changed me.
Seeing another way of life really made me look at the world differently.

The Math in Moscow program has been an amazing experience that I will never forget. The classes I have taken
have been some of the best math courses I been in. Also living in the great city of Moscow has been a great cultural experience.
I am hoping to be able to come back in a few years to study in the Math in Moscow program.

I’m forever grateful for my time here. I’ve grown a lot – personally and mathematically. Before coming here,
I was not putting very much priority to my mathematical studies. Being around so many motivated students
and professors has given me the inspiration to push myself as far as I can go. Honestly I was not looking forward
to the end of the semester because it means that I will not see a lot of the people here for along time,
but I’m also more excited than ever to continue learning and improving, and potentially seeing my old
classmates in future conferences.

Joining this program was a great choice for me. This program provides you with a real space to just devote yourself to mathematics. The professors are great and so supportive, and one of the themes of this program is trying to fill in the gaps in your understanding of math, and that really was achieved. I had a great time with Math in Moscow, I highly recommend if you want to get serious with math.
