MIM has been one of the greatest experiences I’ve had in my life. I’ve learned so much more than mathematics; I learned a different way to learn
a new culture. The program challenged me mathematically and the type of students that also attended also challenged me in my studies. I have so many good
things to say about MIM & about Russia itself. MIM is exciting, invigorating & challenging

The semester was very difficult in the beginning. The winter was harsh, the classes were hard to endure (3 hours) and you realized how far
you are from friends and family. But you make new friends, get used to long classes, and winter turns to spring. By that time, you know a lot more math.
It was a great experience !

If you put something in your back pocket while on the metro, someone will steal it. If you don’t put something in your back pocket while on the metro,
someone will grab your ass.

I had a great time in Moscow this semester. My professors were great I feel like I learned a lot of math. I improved a lot in my Russian and saw a lot of
cool cultural events. Fantastic experience.

MIM will go down as the best part of my undergraduate education. The math is fantastic, the professors first-rate, and the city is amazing. Highly recommended for
anyone who can make it out to Moscow.

MIM was a great experience, and it gives you opportunity to study mathematics that one might not get to see in undergraduate programs in the United States.
Make sure you go to culture things too though; one should not spend only time on the math. They’re character building.
