We are excited to announce that the Fall 2026 semester of the “Math in Moscow” program will be conducted online, offering a unique opportunity for students worldwide to engage with advanced mathematical courses. This semester, we will offer the following courses:
- Foundations of Analysis
- Topology I
- Algebraic Geometry: start-up course
- Algebraic Number Theory
- Basic Representation Theory
- Complex Analysis
- Differential Geometry
- Topology II: Introduction to Homology and Cohomology Theory
You are also welcome to suggest, through the application form, additional courses that interest you. If there is sufficient interest, we may consider offering them.
To apply, please fill out the application form available on our website and upload unofficial copies of all your college transcripts. We will get in touch with you shortly afterward. If you do not receive our email in three business days, please check the spam folder and contact us at mim@mccme.ru. Submission of recommendation letters is not required. However, you should have completed prerequisites for the corresponding course, most of them require at least one semester of Real Analysis and Linear Algebra. Additionally, you do not need to be currently enrolled in a university or any other program to apply.
After you apply, we will schedule a Zoom interview with our professors. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about the courses, prerequisites, and class organization, as well as for us to ensure that you will benefit from the program.
We review applications as they come in, with a final deadline of June 20. Our small groups are limited to just 6 students and may fill before the deadline, so we recommend applying early to secure your place.
Tuition fees are structured as follows:
- $1,800 USD for the first course
- $1,700 USD for the second course
- $1,600 USD for the third course
- $1,500 USD for the fourth and any subsequent courses
If you have taken courses through the Math in Moscow program before, they will count toward the course‑tier discounts listed above. If you are accepted, payment should be made before August 15. Please note that all payments are final and that refunds will not be issued if you choose to withdraw from the program.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at mim@mccme.ru. We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to the Math in Moscow program.
