The instruction in the Spring 2024 semester is going to be online. We will offer eight mathematical courses:
- Advanced Linear Algebra
- Combinatorics
- Non-Euclidean Geometry
- Algebraic Number Theory
- Differential Geometry
- Knot Theory
- Topology II: Introduction to Homology and Cohomology Theory
- Introduction to Commutative and Homological Algebra
- Riemann Surfaces
You can apply for the ones you like by filling out the form and uploading unofficial copies of all your college transcripts. We will get in touch with you shortly afterward. If you do not receive our email in 3 business days, please check the spam folder and contact us at mim@mccme.ru.
We do not ask for recommendation letters, but you need to have completed at least one semester of Real Analysis and Linear Algebra. Also, we do not require that you are currently enrolled at a university or some other program. To ensure that you will benefit from your study in the “Math in Moscow” program, we might ask you to have a Zoom interview with one of our professors. During this discussion, you may learn more about the courses, prerequisites, and how the classes are organized.
The application deadline is January 8. We consider the applications on a rolling basis, so it is possible that the groups in some courses will be filled before the deadline.
The tuition fee is $1800 (US) for the first course, $1700 – for the second, $1600 – for the third, and $1500 – for the fourth and all subsequent courses. The MiM courses you may have taken previously count toward the discount. If accepted, you need to make the payment before January 18.
