We are excited to announce that the Spring 2026 semester of the “Math in Moscow” program will be conducted online, offering a unique opportunity for students worldwide to engage with advanced mathematical courses. This semester, we will offer the following courses:
- Abstract Algebra I
- Advanced Linear Algebra
- Ordinary Differential Equations
- Advanced Algebra
- Analysis on Manifolds
- Knot Theory
- Introduction to Commutative and Homological Algebra
- Riemann Surfaces
You are also welcome to suggest additional courses in which you are interested through the application form. If there is sufficient interest, we may consider offering them.
To apply, please fill out the application form available on our website and upload unofficial copies of all your college transcripts. We will get in touch with you shortly afterward. If you do not receive our email in 3 business days, please check the spam folder and contact us at mim@mccme.ru. Submission of recommendation letters is not required. However, you should have completed at least one semester of Real Analysis and Linear Algebra. Additionally, you do not need to be currently enrolled at a university nor any other program to apply.
After you apply, we will schedule a Zoom interview with our professors. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about the courses, prerequisites, and class organization, as well as for us to ensure that you will benefit from the program.
The application deadline is December 10. We consider applications on a rolling basis. It is crucial for us to maintain small course groups, so it is possible that courses may fill before the deadline. We encourage you to apply early to secure your spot.
Tuition fees are structured as follows:
- $1,800 (US) for the first course
- $1,700 (US) for the second course
- $1,600 (US) for the third course
- $1,500 (US) for the fourth and any subsequent courses
Previous courses taken through the Math in Moscow program will count toward your discount. If accepted, payment must be made before January 15. Please note that all payments are final and that refunds will not be issued if you choose to withdraw from the program.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at mim@mccme.ru. We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to the Math in Moscow program.
